Moscow court gets Apple’s lawsuit against antitrust decisions

MOSCOW, Dec 6 (PRIME) -- The Moscow Arbitration Court has registered a lawsuit by Apple seeking to invalidate unspecified non-regulatory acts of the Federal Antimonopoly Service, according to the court’s documents seen by PRIME on December 5.

The court received the lawsuit on December 1 and is yet to consider it.

The antimonopoly service said in late October that it opened a case against Apple because of its ban to inform the buyers of applications in App Store about alternative ways of payment that can result in a turnover-based fine.

The Moscow Arbitration Court is also considering an Apple lawsuit to find illegal an antitrust watchdog’s decision that the U.S. giant had abused its dominance on the market of mobile applications and contests a U.S. $12 million fine.
